THE SIGNS STILL FOLLOWS

       

“And these signs shall follow them that believe; in my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues...”

Mark 16:17-18

What makes you standout as a believer is power to do signs; this signs is what validates your son ship of God. God is the all powerful and besides Him there is no other (Psalm 62:11). Our Lord Jesus Christ being the begotten Son also willed the greatest power the world has ever seen during his earthly ministry and he concluded His ministry by saying “… All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.” Please note the word “All Power” without exception after which He gave the believers the mandate known as the Great Commission.

STICK TO THE TRUTH

“And the tempter came and said unto him, if thou art the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.”

Mathew 4:3

The only way to be free from every oppression of the enemy is to know the truth, (John 8:32). It is also not enough to know the truth but also to stick to it, because from time to time the truth will be tested. Everything you believe will be subjected to test by the devil from time to time, therefore the truth is whatever you choose to believe and if you truly believe it, no matter what happens you will remain steadfast with it.

HE’S GOT YOUR BACK

Every man needs a backup to live an outstanding triumphant life. Whatever makes a backup must be dependable and reliable, the kind of things you dare in life is a reflection of who is backing you, Many trust in men, some in strange powers, some in occult power, some even trust in riches and connections, all these are backup for people of all ages and we have also seen them fallen and forgotten. There is nothing that can provide a solid and formidable backup for a man like God. When God is backing you up there is nothing that can withstand you “What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? (Romans 8:31) Abraham was fulfilled because he made God his backup, when God is backing you up He guides you with His eyes, He directs your path, He bares you on His wings and makes you perfect, (Psalm 34:15, Proverbs 3:6, Psalm 91:4, 1 Peter 5:10).

WHO ARE YOU FOLLOWING

“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.”

There is a saying that “who you follow determines what follows you”. This is true to a large extent because whoever leads you will also determine how far you will go. Life is a journey into the unknown, because no man knows what will become of him, therefore there is need for the leadership of someone who knows the road. God is the only one who knows the way better than any man, He is willing and ready to lead us; “Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.”(Isaiah 48:17)

Motivationals: STOP FEELING

“And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he afterward hungered.”

Feeling is part of what make us complete as human beings. Feeling is embedded inside the soul part of a man and expressed or through our emotions. The reason why we behave the way we do can be narrowed down to the working of our soul and emotions, our feelings most times go a long way in deciding our action as a human beings, therefore wrong emotions or feelings always leads to wrong actions and vice versa. Many people have lost it in life because of the way they feel; feelings have caused many untold hardships and sorrows because they allow feelings to interfere in decision making. Feelings are peculiar to the flesh, the flesh relates to its immediate environment through feelings.

Grace: GROW IN GRACE

                   

“But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever. Amen.”

2 Peter 3:18

The same way we grow as humans, so also are virtues grown and increased in levels. Grace is of God and made available to man to function effectively in any given area or purpose. Someone once said that there is nothing called achievement in the ministry, but rather ‘Engracement’. If there’s any English word like that, then it will mean that everything achieved over the years is as a result of the working of Grace in that man’s life. The anchor scripture further confirms the fact that Grace can be grown via knowledge of God; the more of God you know, the more the Grace on your life increases (2 Peter 1:2). Daniel’s knowledge of God was obviously higher than that of his companions that was what made him outstanding among them.

Grace: MORE GRACE

“But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.”

Grace is the answer to all the needs of man on the face of the earth, everything that God has to say to humanity was summarized in one word which is Grace. Grace is the free and unmerited favour of God; it witnesses to the manifestation of God’s power upon a man for outstanding achievements. Grace starts where your ability ends. Grace is the manifestation of the abilities of God upon a man. To get solution to the issues of life requires grace, everything you desire is answerable to Grace; prosperity, success, marriage, sound health, righteousness and outstanding accomplishments in life, career, and destiny can only be delivered by Grace.
