“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons
of God.”
Romans 8:14
There is a saying that “who you follow determines what follows you”. This is true to a
large extent because whoever leads you will also determine how far you will go.
Life is a journey into the unknown, because no man knows what will become of him,
therefore there is need for the leadership of someone who knows the road. God
is the only one who knows the way better than any man, He is willing and ready
to lead us; “Thus
saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth
thee by the way that thou
shouldest go.”(Isaiah 48:17)
God’s way is
the best way that leads to life (Psalm 16:11) and He desires you to follow Him.
He led the children of Israel through the wilderness and their clothes did not
wear out, nor their legs swollen neither was anyone feeble or weak among them,
they followed God and they got to their destination, while those who refused
His leadership perished in the wilderness, that will never be your portion in
Jesus name! The twelve disciples followed Jesus and He made them fulfill their
destiny. The anchor scripture shows the way through which God leads His
children, which is through ‘His Spirit’.
To be led therefore is preceded by willingness to follow, to know the path of
life you must be shown, many follow men and they end up in disaster. “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and
lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways
acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”(Proverbs 3:5-6) Stop following man, start following God!
