“And these signs shall follow them that believe; in my name
shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues...”
Mark 16:17-18
What makes you standout as a
believer is power to do signs; this signs is what validates your son ship of
God. God is the all powerful and besides Him there is no other (Psalm 62:11).
Our Lord Jesus Christ being the begotten Son also willed the greatest power the
world has ever seen during his earthly ministry and he concluded His ministry
by saying “… All
power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.” Please note the word “All Power” without exception after
which He gave the believers the mandate known as the Great Commission.
The
power that belongs to God was transferred to Jesus and was invested in His name
for every child of God which now becomes our identity in the Kingdom (Mark
16:17-18). And as it was then so it is and it will remain, when we got born
again the power was transferred to us to do signs “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons
of God, even to them that
believe on his name.”(John 1:12)I. Are you manifesting signs as a believer?
Are you walking in the reality of who you are in Christ? Many have lost this
power due to negligence and sinful life and habit. To operate in this realm of
power involves going out first, without you going out the signs cannot follow
you, you must first of all make the move in faith before signs can follow. “And they went forth, and preached
everywhere, the Lord working with them,
and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.” Do you want signs to
follow you as well? Then start going out and preach the Gospel. You are
