“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.”
Proverbs 23:7
Words are powerful tools of creation, through the
use of words the whole earth and the heavens came into being (Genesis 1:1-3). Likewise
our words carry weight as well. The tongue is the smallest part of human body
but boast the greatest power over the whole body. “Even so the tongue is a little member, and
boasteth great things. Behold how great a matter a little fire kindleth! And
the tongue is a fire, a world
of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole
body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.” Our words determines the direction of our lives, our words
can make or mar us. Our words can make alive and kill “For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt
be condemned.”(Mathew 12:37)
Words are seeds that when sown it is
meant to grow, through words we sow both good and bad seeds whether into our
lives or into the lives of others. Our lives can never be any way better than
our words, as powerful as the word is it cannot function without our thought,
every word spoken is a direct expression of thought “O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? For
out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. (Mathew 12:34). Therefore
our thought ultimately decides our words which controls our lives. Many people have
make mess of their lives as a result of negative thoughts resulting in negative
words which eventually ruins their lives, to restructure your life therefore
entails purifying your thought life, think positively and speak positive words
to yourself and to others. Apostle Paul gave us the format which our thought
life should take (Philippians 4:8). Think right, speak right, and live right,
it is well with you! Further
