In life we are faced with the dilemma of making
choices, we are faced with the challenges of making decisions based on choices.
Life as we know is based on series of decisions taken or to be taken, in every
issue of life there is need to make choices from time to time. Some of these
choices may be trivial while some are important to destiny fulfillment that
could determine a man’s placement both in time and eternity. There are
different types of occasions of choice making, some are taken by you while some
are taken on your behalf by people that means a lot to you, but whichever way
choice is made, whatever choice is made is left to you to deal with the
consequences. Choice portrays the true nature of man as a free moral agent
given the power to make choices and decisions without God’s interference.
The
above scripture was the word of the servant of the Lord Moses towards the
conclusion of his ministry to the children of Israel, putting their destinies
in their own hands and challenging them to make the right choice. “I call heaven
and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing:
therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live.”(Deuteronomy
30:19). This message was also reiterated
by Joshua to the children of Israel (Joshua 24:15) and the same is still coming
to you today, what choice have you made in the past that is negatively
affecting you? It’s never late to correct every mistakes associated with wrong
choices, commit them to God and He will help you. Be inspired by the Holy Ghost
to make the right Choice in life. You are highly favoured!
