“And when he was
come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe
ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord.”

Every testimony is the proof of direct act of God
also known as a ‘Miracle’. Preceding every miracle is faith, because miracles
respond to faith. “But without faith it
is impossible to please him:
for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”(Hebrews
11:6) To move God requires faith, and when
faith is on ground miracles are bound to happen because God honours faith and
faith honours God. The anchor scripture is a pure demonstration of the act of
God in response to faith or believing, this story is one of the many stories
establishing the fact that faith is the anchor that draws miracle.
God deals
with every man according to the measure of faith; Our Lord Jesus was asking the
blind men, do you believe I can do this? And they responded positively and He
touched their eyes and said “…According
to your faith be it unto you.”(Mathew 9:29) And their eyes were opened and they began to testify and published
the miracle of Jesus. There is another story in Mark 9 of a boy possessed with
demons from childhood and the disciples were unable to cast it out despite
being empowered by Jesus, and when Jesus came on the scene he said to the
father of the boy “If thou canst believe,
all things are possible to him
that believeth.” And the father of the boy replied with tears “Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.
(Mark 9:23-24) Do you also believe? Believing is the sure link to
testifying, whatever God has said to you or about you can only come to pass if
you believe, therefore start believing and go testifying.
